Olvion tablets for erectile dysfunction

Olvion tablets were approved by the EMA for erectile dysfunction treatment in November 2011. Cypriot pharmaceutical company Medochemie supplies Olvion tablets to the Czech Republic, Estonia, Greece, Lithuania, Romania and Slovakia.

Olvion tablets contain 50 or 100 mg of active substance Sildenafil. Each package contain 2, 4, 8, or 12 tablets. Olvion tablets are white, biconvex, marked with “C1” or “436” on one side.

From 2011 to 2015, Olvion tablets containing 25 mg of Sildenafil were sold in European countries.

However, at the initiative of Medochemie company, the drug was withdrawn because of low sales

Previously, Pfizer company received a license to supply Olvion tablets in the UK. Besides standard dosages of 25, 50 and 100 mg, Olvion 75 mg tablets are sold at the UK pharmacies.
